Derrick Henry tops list of players with something to prove

These players will be challenged Saturday because of the matchups, game plans or situations they face.

How they perform will likely be a big factor in their team's success or failure. And while it's likely the last thing on the the players' minds, NFL evaluators are eager to see how these future pros handle tough moments.

So no matter what lens you're looking through, these are some of the key players to watch in many of the top college football games this weekend.


Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama hasn't made its offensive game plan much of a secret this season: The Tide are going to keep running it with Henry until an opposing defense forces them to switch it up. Auburn couldn't do it last week, when Henry got an astounding 46 carries, but Florida is a much bigger test. The Gators rank seventh in the FBS in rushing yards allowed per game. One bad omen for Florida could be the success LSU's Leonard Fournette had against the Gators (180 yards and two TDs). Can Henry create yards on his own if creases aren't there to exploit? I can't wait to see this matchup unfold.
