Which FBS teams are best positioned to contend for national championships during the next three seasons?

That's the question ESPN.com tried to tackle in its latest College Football Future Power Rankings, which were unveiled earlier this week. A panel of experts rated teams from 1 to 10 (1 being the worst, 5 being average and 10 being elite) in five different categories: coaching, current talent, recruiting, program foundation and title path.

Defending national champion Ohio State passed Alabama for the top spot in this year's edition of the rankings. Bama was ranked No. 2 and was one of eight SEC schools in the top 25. Florida State was No. 3, Auburn was No. 4 and LSU was No. 5.
