Reports: Freshman TE Daniel Imatorbhebhe leaves Gators

The first commitment coach Jim McElwain received at Florida has already left the program after only a few months on campus, according to multiple reports.

Daniel Imatorbhebhe, a freshman tight end and former three-star recruit according to ESPN, was originally committed to Missouri but flipped to Florida in December.

The Suwanee, Georgia, native was one of 21 recruits to sign with the Gators' 2015 class, which ranked 20th overall by ESPN.

With Imatorbhebhe on the way out, the Gators are left without much depth at tight end, where DeAndre Goolsby, C'yontai Lewis and Moral Stephens are all looking to back up projected starter Jake McGee, who missed last season after breaking his leg in the opener against Eastern Michigan. Goolsby, Lewis and Stephens have a combined seven games of experience and zero catches.
