Former Michigan Wolverines DE Frank Clark convicted of disorderly conduct

SANDUSKY, Ohio -- Former Michigan defensive end Frank Clark has been convicted of a disorderly conduct charge after pleading no contest in an agreement with prosecutors in northwest Ohio.

The 21-year-old Ypsilanti, Michigan-area resident had pleaded not guilty in Sandusky Municipal Court to misdemeanor charges of domestic violence and assault. Authorities say he was arrested Nov. 15 for allegedly beating up a woman in suburban Sandusky.

A court official says the domestic violence count was downgraded to disorderly conduct. Clark was sentenced Friday to three days of jail time already served. He also paid $250 plus $100 court costs. The assault charge was dismissed.

Defense attorney Ken Bailey says that Clark completed counseling, which helped lead to the plea agreement.

Brady Hoke, who was Michigan's coach at the time, dismissed Clark from the football team after his arrest.
