The UCLA Bruins have posted some notable achievements under coach Jim Mora, including consecutive 10-win seasons for the first time since 1998 and back-to-back bowl wins for the first time since 1988. The one thing they have not done under Mora (or under any other coach since 1998) is win the Pac-12 championship.
Since the Bruins lose quarterback Brett Hundley, arguably the most prolific passer in the program's history, to graduation, this might not seem like the season in which that conference championship drought can come to an end.
Having to replace Hundley is a daunting task, but a closer look at a variety of factors indicates that UCLA should actually be considered the favorite to win the Pac-12 in 2015.
