COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Missouri wide receiver Jimmie Hunt will undergo surgery for a left shoulder injury and miss the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl.
The senior had been day-to-day before consulting with team doctors, who determined the injury was too painful for him to play in the Jan. 1 game against Minnesota in Orlando, Florida.
In 12 games this season, Hunt had 40 catches for 698 yards and seven touchdowns.
