OSU-Baylor to go off as scheduled

College Football, Baylor Bears, Oklahoma State Cowboys

Despite concerns surrounding Saturday night's forecast, the Oklahoma State at Baylor game will go on as scheduled in Waco, Texas, the Bears announced Friday.

Baylor, OSU and Big 12 officials discussed adjusting the starting time Friday night, sources said, but ultimately decided to stick with the original game time. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday. It is slated to be televised nationally by FOX Sports.

Severe thunderstorms, which could cause lightning delays, are forecast for Saturday night, along with a 100 percent chance of rain, according to weather.com.

Oklahoma State was scheduled to leave for Waco on Friday afternoon.

Baylor (8-1, 5-1 Big 12) is ranked No. 7 in the College Football Playoff. Oklahoma State (5-5, 3-4 Big 12) needs a win against either Baylor or Oklahoma on Dec. 6 to become bowl eligible.
