Turning the corner into Week 4 of the college football season means the battle for entry into the first College Football Playoff will start heating up.

This time of year also means that the fight for positional supremacy will start to take shape as well. These skirmishes are always spirited, but this year the most contested spot appears to be at wide receiver, as the departure of maybe the most talented crop of wideouts in recent memory left a power vacuum at the position.

But there are plenty of candidates left to fill that void, so let's take a look at my list of the current top 10 WRs and review how each can find a way to move up my board.
