I love the disconnect people try to place between religion and science. I believe in a God who is omniscient. We are on this Earth to learn, which includes learning about the natural world. And don't get me started about people who use their religious institutions as political weapons to keep people thinking that the earth is flat.

Despite being a moral person, I'm going to hell because I didn't accept the word of other men and believe in God. I chose (because it made more sense to me) to believe in science. I didn't feel I need faith and I didn't fear death. If morality doesn't matter as long as you accept Jesus then your heaven contains the likes of Jeffrey Dahmer and "son of Sam". Your hell would then contain people like our country's founding fathers, Einstein, Galileo and many brilliant people. Heaven doesn't sound so heavenly to me.
