There are many ways the LB situation could shake out. 1. Wilkerson moves back to the outside, and I assume he would start. 2. Jason Gibson takes the spot; he flashed a lot of potential during the spring. 3. Jalen Jefferson or some other underclassman (Michael Barton could push for PT as well) steps up and takes the spot. 4. Tedford makes a bonehead decision and lets Hurrell or Campo take the spot, ensuring that Cal's defense will never set the edge for the entire season. I pray for #2

Cecil had academic issues from the get-go, which is why they had to greyshirt him during his first year. Given the timing of this (directly after the spring semester), this is probably related to poor classroom performance right?

I'll bet you didn't realize that this kid grew up with a white family in Newport Beach and this kid loves to go surfing. He's a good kid, just a little on the slacker side. One of the first things he asked Tedford was if there was any surfing.
