Gerald Boudreaux out at SEC

The SEC has decided not to renew the contract of Gerald Boudreaux, the league's coordinator of officials, for the 2013-14 season, multiple sources told ESPN.com.

The sources were unable to confirm the reason for Boudreaux being out as the league's head of officials.

Boudreaux was an SEC official from 1986-2006 before he was elevated to his former role.

Boudreaux is the second major conference officiating coordinator to be out of a job in a week. Pac-12 coordinator Ed Rush resigned last week after making what he admitted an ill-advised comment in jest about offering money or a trip to officials for enforcing the coaching behavior rule.
