Best of the rest class grades

With the final 2013 class rankings set and the late signing period over, here's a team-by-team breakdown of the best 2013 basketball recruiting classes outside the "big six" conferences, complete with final grades for each team. Final class grades for the SEC, Big Ten, Big East, Big 12, Pac-12 and ACC are already out.

Note: Teams are as of conference alignment for the 2012-13 season and not future conference realignment.

Memphis

Grade

Memphis has dominated Conference USA recruiting in recent years and has a class more than worthy of the Tigers' move to high-major status in the new American Athletic Conference next season. This is the second time in the past four years that head coach Josh Pastner has delivered a class with at least four ESPN 100 prospects, and this 2013 class is good enough for No. 3 in the country with an astounding five ESPN 100 recruits: power forward Austin Nichols, small forward Kuran Iverson, small forward Nick King, point guard Rashawn Powell and late signee center Dominic Woodson (a Baylor decommit). What's just as important is that Memphis has continued to dominate its backyard -- landing local products like Nichols, King and three-star shooting guard Markel Crawford -- while also extending the reach of its recruiting arm by going north into the prep-school market to land Iverson as well as south to Florida for Powell. -- Adam Finkelstein, RecruitingNation
