It goes without saying that watching two No. 2 seeds fall to No. 15 seeds in the same night is beyond rare. For starters, No. 15 seeds had beaten No. 2s only four times total since 1991. Never had it happened twice in one tournament, much less within a few hours.
But historical significance aside, it was how Norfolk State and Lehigh defeated Missouri and Duke, respectively, that was so surprising to me.
