HAMDEN, Conn. -- Dave Johnson scored 19 points and Ike Azotam had 18 as Quinnipiac snapped a two-game losing streak, beating St. Francis (Pa.) 77-44 on Thursday night.

Johnson was 8 of 11 from the field and Azotam 9 of 11 for the Bobcats (16-12, 9-8 Northeast Conference) who shot 59 percent (34 of 58) from the floor as a team.

Zaid Hearst added 15 and Ousmane Drame 13 for Quinnipiac, who led by as much as 17 in the first half and 38 in the second half.

The Bobcats outrebounded St. Francis 39-20 and held the Red Flash (6-22, 5-12) to just 38 percent (18 of 47) from the field, including 1 for 9 from behind the arc.

Scott Eatherton scored 16 points and Jon Taylor had seven, but no other St. Francis player scored over five points.

Quinnipiac fell to St. Francis 74-71 on Jan 14.
