RALEIGH, N.C. -- North Carolina State announced on Friday the signing of 6-foot-10 forward Ted Kapita.
Kapita, who is originally from Congo, played at Huntington Prep in West Virginia and was ranked 71st overall in the class of 2015, according to ESPN. He also played at DME Academy in Melbourne, Florida, where he averaged 12 points and seven rebounds per game.
Wolfpack coach Mark Gottfried called Kapita "a versatile and athletic addition who plays with a high motor."
Kapita joins a recruiting class that includes guards Dennis Smith Jr. and Markell Johnson and big men Omer Yurtseven and Darius Hicks.
