Dillon Brooks, Tyler Dorsey to exit NBA draft process, return to Ducks

Oregon sophomore Dillon Brooks and freshman Tyler Dorsey are expected to return to Eugene, sources close to the situation told ESPN on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-6 Brooks led the Ducks in scoring at 16.7 points per game and also averaged 5.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists. Dorsey averaged 13.4 points and 4.3 rebounds. Both went through the NBA draft process without hiring an agent.

The deadline for underclassmen to withdraw and retain their eligibility is Wednesday night at 11:59 p.m. ET.

Brooks and Dorsey both declared for the draft and went on workouts for individual NBA teams, but neither was invited to the NBA combine earlier this month in Chicago.

Oregon lost Elgin Cook and Dwayne Benjamin off last year's team that went 31-7 overall and won the Pac-12 title with a 14-4 mark. However, the Ducks will return three of their top four scorers.
