San Francisco beats Santa Clara 74-61

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Devin Watson had 17 of his 22 points in the second half to help San Francisco rally past Santa Clara for a 74-61 win on Thursday night.

Watson's 4-point play capped 11 straight points as San Francisco (10-9, 4-5 West Coast) took control. The Dons stretched the run to 15-2 on Tim Derksen's baseline reverse to make it 63-54 with 4:25 left.

Uche Ofoegbu had a career-high 21 points and Derksen added 19 points. Watson made 4 of 6 from 3-point range and handed out six assists.

Jared Brownridge had 20 points to lead the Broncos (7-14, 3-6). KJ Feagin scored 11 and Nate Kratch grabbed 12 rebounds with six points.

Santa Clara started the game with a 13-2 run and led by as many as 15 before missing 12 of 13 field goals to let the Dons back in before halftime. The Broncos built the lead back to 49-44 before another shooting slump allowed the Dons to pull away.
