Boston College G Olivier Hanlan declares early for NBA draft

BOSTON -- Boston College guard Olivier Hanlan has decided to enter the NBA draft.

The BC junior from Aylmer, Quebec, thanked the school for giving him an opportunity to develop. Coach Jim Christian thanked Hanlan and said he supported the decision.

Hanlan was a first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference selection this season.

Hanlan led all players in major conferences in scoring average in league games. He averaged 21.9 points against ACC opponents. He was also first with a .436 percentage on 3-pointers.

He is projected as a late second-rounder.
