Hoosiers' Troy Williams to return to Bloomington for junior season

Men's College Basketball, Indiana Hoosiers

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana forward Troy Williams will return to school next season instead of entering the NBA draft.

The school announced the decision Wednesday.

Williams averaged 13.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists as a sophomore. He has career averages of 10.2 points and 5.9 rebounds.

The decision comes less than a week after one of the nation's top recruits, 6-foot-10 Thomas Bryant, announced he would attend Indiana next season. Williams says he's returning because he's excited about the possibilities of next season.

Indiana also has two guards -- freshman James Blackmon Jr. and junior Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell -- considering leaving early for the NBA.
