D.J. Wilson has surgery on pinkie

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan coach John Beilein says freshman forward D.J. Wilson will miss four to six weeks after surgery on his right pinkie.

Beilein says he anticipates a speedy recovery, and Wilson is expected back at 100 percent by the time September workouts start.

Wilson will still travel with the team on its trip to Italy, Aug. 15-24.
