SEATTLE -- JoVaughn Love scored five points in the final minute and his jumper with :28 left gave Arkansas-Pine Bluff the lead and a 58-56 win over Seattle in the season-opener for both squads Friday night.

Love finished with 15 points and nine rebounds to lead the Golden Lions, with Deshon Bayless adding 10 points and eight boards.

Love was 3 of 15 from the field and knocked down 1 of his 7 3-point attempts, but he was 8 of 12 from the free throw line.

Arkansas-Pine Bluff shot 20 of 55 from the field, including 7 of 30 from long range.

Seattle got 11 points and eight rebounds from Jack Crook and William Powell added 10 points and nine boards.
