MALIBU, Calif. -- Tim Derksen scored 19 points, including a tough layup with 15.7 seconds to go, and San Francisco beat Pepperdine for the seventh straight time, 56-64 on Saturday.

After Derksen's layup gave the Dons (12-16, 6-10 West Coast Conference) a 55-52 lead, Stacy Davis, who had 23 points and 12 rebounds for the Waves (16-12, 9-8), scored underneath with 4.9 seconds left.

San Francisco went over the top on the inbounds play to Matt Glover, who was fouled, and the 48-percent foul shooter made one with 2.5 seconds left. Jeremy Major's heave from just inside midcourt bounced off the back iron.

The Dons, who have won three straight for the first time since opening the season with three wins, shot 50 percent in the first half for a 31-19 lead but only shot 32 percent (7 of 22) in the second.
