He gets way too much credit for Lebron James who is a freak of nature and not someone created by this coach... He has lived off the Lebron thing for years and cut the legs off the last coach at Akron as a member of his staff to ascend into the job. People who stab others in the back to achieve a position should have no one's respect... Check out this coach's track record at another MAC school where he struggled mightily amid scandal before you crown him one of America's best coaches!

He's a good coach. He can develop talent. Unfortunately for dambrot, he coaches in the MAC, will never continually get top tier talent, and will either need to win the conference every year or 25+ games to make the tourney. still a good signing, as e really wants to stay there.

This is the man responsible for developing Lebron's freakish athletic ability into useful skills on the basketball court. He taught him the fundamentals and molded him into the player that he is today. Without Dambrot, Lebron would have been just another 6'8 250-pound power forward with NO passing skills, minimal slashing moves, and poor ball handling. He would essentially be Carmelo, and that would have been his absolute ceiling. This is a very well-deserved extension for one hell of a teacher of the game.

you are very wrong. Dambrot was his coach one year in High School. He ran their High School team like a professional team but he did not personally develop lebron.
