How the West is being won

NBA, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers

Part of the formula for success in the NBA is beating the teams you are supposed to beat. Sure, it might be great to beat the best teams, but feasting upon the bad ones is significant. Combining that with steady, solid play can lead to waves of wins like the ones the Oklahoma City Thunder and New York Knicks have ridden to the top of their respective conferences.

On Monday, we talked about how the Thunder and Knicks have taken advantage of weaker teams as well as the play of their respective stars, Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony. Today, we discuss two more streaking teams in the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers. Both teams are surging, but they've taken very different courses to get where they are.

Just how are the Clippers and Warriors winning?

Clippers' not-so-secret weapon

Who cares?
