Indians upcoming road trip gives Cavs déjà vu

Cleveland Indians, Cleveland Cavaliers

Stop us if you've heard this before, but a Cleveland team will be playing Detroit, Atlanta and Toronto in consecutive series.

Yes, the Cleveland Indians' upcoming road trip, which starts against the Tigers on Friday, mirrors the exact path the Cleveland Cavaliers took to the NBA Finals.

The Cavaliers opened their playoff run by sweeping the Detroit Pistons and Atlanta Hawks, respectively, before beating the Toronto Raptors in six games in the Eastern Conference finals. Of course, the Cavs played the Golden State Warriors from there and won the NBA championship in Game 7.

The Indians replied to the Cavaliers' tweet with some hijinks of their own.

In case you're wondering, that is a shot at Warriors star Stephen Curry's wife Ayesha, who claimed the NBA Finals were "absolutely rigged" after Golden State lost Game 6.

Needless to say, the Tribe are certainly happy that their 10-game road trip doesn't end with a West Coast swing to face the Oakland Athletics.
