In case you missed it (and you probably didn't), the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50 on Sunday.
More than a few athletes, current and former, were watching -- including perhaps the Panthers' most famous fan.

Now, it must be said that Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning did not retire immediately after the game; he said he was going to take some time to think about his future. Still, it's clear a good deal of the sports world would not be upset to see him go out on top.
