Carli Lloyd Calls Out Tweeters ... Then Kobe Does, Too

Carli Lloyd scored about 100 goals (OK, three in 16 minutes) in leading the United States women's national team to the FIFA Women's World Cup championship this summer.

This, naturally, made her a little bit famous. Since the win, Lloyd has run through the talk show circuit, all while training and playing with the Houston Dash of the National Women's Soccer League.

One Twitter user noticed all the work, asked about it, and Lloyd responded:

Another, though, was not so kind to Lloyd, playing the old they-want-to-be-famous-not-good-at-sports card:

Kobe Bryant -- a noted USWNT fan who is well-versed in the skill of being both famous and great at a sport -- was not about to let this go without defending Lloyd himself.

Now, unfortunately Bryant brought in @pegyscarters, whose question appeared to be innocent.

Still, let that be a lesson to you haters or prospective haters out there: If you come for the USWNT, you're going to have to deal with them ... and Kobe, too.
