This summer has unquestionably been the season of the free-agent big man. We knew that was the case even before the DeAndre Jordan debacle and the frenzy of transactions that has enthralled us over the past few days. It's proved to be even more so when you consider the players who have actually changed teams.

When the NBA's annual moratorium took effect early last Wednesday, bigs dominated the free-agent lists. According to projected 2015-16 WARP, 52 percent of the top 100 names on the restricted and unrestricted markets had a base position of either center or power forward.
