LeBron James' jersey, Bulls merchandise tops season-ending sales

For the second consecutive season, LeBron James' jersey has finished at No. 1, based on sales from the NBA's website.

James' return to the Cleveland Cavaliers this past summer all but guaranteed that he would sell more jerseys than any other player as his native state embraced him -- and his No. 23 -- once again.

James also had the No. 1-selling jersey in his first (2011) and last (2014) seasons with the Miami Heat, as well as his rookie season with the Cavaliers in 2003-04.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry finished at No. 2 -- up from No. 5 last season. Kobe Bryant finished third for the second straight year, even though he has played only a combined 41 games over the past two seasons. And injury-plagued seasons for Kevin Durant and Derrick Rose also didn't seem to stop fans from buying their jerseys, as the two finished fourth and fifth, respectively.

Rounding out the top 10 (in order) were Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving, San Antonio Spurs center Tim Duncan, New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony, Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade and Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin.

In team merchandise sales, the Chicago Bulls finished in the top spot for the first time in three seasons, followed by the Cavs, Warriors, Lakers and Thunder.
