HOUSTON -- Tim Duncan had 29 points and blocked James Harden's layup with 2.9 seconds left, sending the San Antonio Spurs to their 10th straight victory, 104-103 over the Houston Rockets on Friday night.

San Antonio jumped into the third spot in the Western Conference and Houston dropped from third to sixth.

The Spurs had a four-point lead when Harden made a layup for his first points of the half with less than 90 seconds remaining.

Duncan missed a layup before Harden made a 3-pointer with 28.9 seconds left to get Houston to 104-103. Tony Parker turned it over to give Houston one last shot.

But Duncan blocked Harden's shot and grabbed the ball to secure the victory.

Harden had just 16 points as San Antonio coach Gregg Popovich kept the ball out of Harden's hands by intentionally fouling Josh Smith 12 times in the second half. Smith went 12 of 26 from the line and led the Rockets with 20 points.

MAVERICKS 144, NUGGETS 143, 2OT

DENVER -- Raymond Felton hit a layup with 1.5 seconds remaining in double overtime, then blocked a last-second shot to help Dallas get the win.

Felton drove past Randy Foye and banked in a shot high off the glass. He then got a piece of Kenneth Faried's jumper at the buzzer, causing the ball to wind up short.

Denver's Danilo Gallinari scored a career-high 47 points, including eight in the first overtime and nine in the second.

Denver had a chance to win in regulation, but Faried's jumper rolled off the rim. Dallas had a shot to claim victory at the end of the first overtime, only to have Monta Ellis' long shot clang off the iron.

Dirk Nowitzki had 25 points for the Mavericks, and Richard Jefferson added a season-high 24.

CELTICS 99, CAVALIERS 93

CLEVELAND -- Marcus Smart scored 19 points, and Boston boosted its playoff hopes with a big road win.

The Celtics had five players score in double figures. Isaiah Thomas had 17 points, Avery Bradley scored 15 and Tyler Zeller finished with 13.

Boston and Brooklyn are tied with 37-42 records, but the Celtics own the tiebreaker after winning three of their four meetings. Boston is 21-12 since Feb. 21 when it was a season-high 14 games below .500.

The Cavs played without injured All-Star Kyrie Irving and used their reserves extensively after clinching the No. 2 seed in the East on Wednesday. They had won 18 consecutive home games.

Irving was sidelined by a sore right hip and LeBron James played 26 minutes, one short of his season low. James finished with 14 points and seven assists.

NETS 117, WIZARDS 80

NEW YORK -- Brook Lopez scored 26 points, Bojan Bogdanovic added 22 and Brooklyn cruised to the easy victory.

The Nets' 37-point margin was their biggest at Barclays Center, where they've won six of their last seven and 10 of 13 overall.

Jarrett Jack scored 14 points for the Nets, who remained in the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference race. Bogdanovic was 6 for 6 from 3-point range.

Bradley Beal scored 24 points and Marcin Gortat had 21 points and 16 rebounds for the Wizards, who had won four in a row.

PACERS 107, PISTONS 103

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. -- Rodney Stuckey scored 24 points, including three straight jumpers down the stretch, and the Pacers kept up their playoff push.

Indiana (36-43) has won four in a row and is one game behind Brooklyn and Boston for the last two Eastern Conference playoff spots. All three teams won on Friday.

C.J. Miles also scored 24 points for the Pacers, and Roy Hibbert had 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Reggie Jackson led Detroit with 21 points. Greg Monroe had 17 points and 12 rebounds, and Andre Drummond finished with 11 points, 15 boards and three blocked shots.

GRIZZLIES 89, JAZZ 88

SALT LAKE CITY -- Marc Gasol had 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists, and Memphis held on for the road win.

The Grizzlies closed the game on a 16-6 run, but had to wait out a few anxious moments at the end. Gasol was called for a foul on a 3-point attempt by Gordon Hayward with .01 seconds remaining. Hayward buried the first two free throws, but missed the third that likely would have forced overtime.

Memphis moved a game ahead of Houston in the race for the Southwest Division title and the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference playoffs.

Beno Udrih started for the injured Mike Conley and had 20 points for Memphis on 9-for-13 shooting.

Hayward scored 27 points for Utah, and Rodney Hood continued his hot streak with 18.

PELICANS 90, SUNS 75

NEW ORLEANS -- Anthony Davis had 19 points and nine rebounds to lead New Orleans to the victory.

Eric Gordon scored 15 points and Tyreke Evans had 14 to help the Pelicans keep pace with Oklahoma City for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Omer Asik had a season-high 18 rebounds.

Eric Bledsoe led Phoenix with 19 points.

Davis' night nearly ended early after getting tangled near the basket with the Suns' Earl Barron, whose elbow struck the New Orleans forward below the chin in the second quarter. He returned in the fourth to a rousing ovation and had six points and five rebounds in the final 11 minutes.

THUNDER 116, KINGS 103

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Russell Westbrook had 27 points and 10 assists, and Oklahoma City remained even with New Orleans for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Thunder expanded a six-point lead at the end of three quarters into a 17-point margin down the stretch. Anthony Morrow helped put the game away with a pair of fourth-quarter 3s as Oklahoma City broke a four-game losing streak.

Enes Kanter had 24 points for the Thunder, and Morrow finished with 19.

Sacramento got 20 points from Ben McLemore and 17 each from Ray McCallum and Derrick Williams in losing its fifth straight on the road.

BUCKS 99, KNICKS 91

NEW YORK -- Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to the lineup with 23 points and moved Milwaukee Bucks to the verge of a playoff spot.

The Bucks lowered their magic number to one for clinching a playoff berth, which would complete a remarkable turnaround from an NBA-worst 15-67 record last season. They can wrap up their spot Sunday at home against the Nets, the team Jason Kidd led to the playoffs last season before taking over the young Bucks.

Antetokounmpo had played in every game this season and started most of them before Kidd surprisingly chose to sit him in Wednesday's 104-99 loss to Cleveland.

Langston Galloway scored 20 points and Lance Thomas added 16 for the Knicks, who are closing in on following the Bucks as the NBA's worst team.

HAWKS 104, HORNETS 80

ATLANTA -- Mike Muscala scored 17 points, and the Hawks reached 60 wins for the first time in franchise history.

Kyle Korver had 16 points for Atlanta (60-19), and Al Horford finished with 15 points and eight rebounds. Muscala was 8 for 9 from the field in 25½ minutes while filling in for injured forward Paul Millsap.

The Hawks unveiled their Southeast Division banner before the game for their first division title since winning the Central in 1993-94. Then the No. 1 seed for the Eastern Conference playoffs extended its franchise record for wins.

The Hornets were eliminated from the playoff race with their third straight loss, combined with wins by Indiana and Boston. Troy Daniels led Charlotte with 15 points.

LAKERS 106, TIMBERWOLVES 98

LOS ANGELES -- Ryan Kelly scored 21 points, rookie Jabari Brown added 20 points and seven assists, and the Lakers snapped a five-game losing streak.

Each of the Lakers' starters scored in double figures, including rookie point guard Jordan Clarkson, who had 18 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Tarik Black added 18 points and 10 rebounds in a matchup of teams among the bottom four in the league.

Andrew Wiggins scored 29 points and fellow rookie Zach LaVine added 18 for the Timberwolves (16-63), who have lost nine straight.

The Lakers (21-58), who have already set a franchise record for losses, increased a five-point halftime lead to 70-54 with an 18-7 run that included three baskets by Kelly from 3-point range.

RAPTORS 101, MAGIC 99

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Lou Williams made a 3-pointer with 9.9 seconds left, lifting Toronto to its 11th straight win over Orlando.

DeMar DeRozan led the Raptors with 29 points. Tyler Hansbrough had 16 points, and Williams finished with 13.

Victor Oladipo had 19 points for Orlando, but he also missed a 15-footer in the final second that would have tied the game. Evan Fournier scored 18 points, and Tobias Harris and Nik Vucevic each had 16.

The Magic had won three in a row.
