Tyler Harvey declares for NBA draft

Eastern Washington junior guard Tyler Harvey will declare for the NBA draft, he announced Wednesday.

Harvey led the nation in scoring in 2014-15, averaging 23.1 points per game. He shot 46.9 percent from the field overall and 43.1 percent on 3-pointers, leading the country in made 3-pointers.

The marksman also produced 3.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game for the Eagles after scoring 21.8 points per game in 2013-14.

Eastern Washington made the NCAA tournament as a No. 13 seed but lost to No. 4 seed Georgetown. Harvey had 27 points in the 84-74 loss.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Harvey is projected for the second round of the NBA draft.
