Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love returned Monday night against the Chicago Bulls after missing a game with back spasms.
Love got the start for the Cavaliers after being listed Love as a game-time decision.
"I feel good," Love said after participating in Monday's shootaround. "With how I responded in practice, I believe [I'll play]. I'm happy it's just a spasm. It's something you treat day by day."
Love has had two bouts with back spasms this season -- the first time he's dealt with them in his career. He believes he will be able to manage the issue.
"It's something that if it comes down to it I can play with," Love said. "We'll just keep trying to prevent it."
Iman Shumpert, who hasn't played with the Cavs since they acquired him in a trade two weeks ago, participated in practice Monday morning as he nears a return from a dislocated shoulder he suffered last month as a member of the New York Knicks.
The Cavs said Shumpert would be re-evaluated this week but have yet to announce an update on his condition.
