NEW ORLEANS -- Sacramento Kings forward Rudy Gay will miss Tuesday night's game against the New Orleans Pelicans with a right Achilles injury.
Kings coach Michael Malone said the injury has bothered Gay enough that the team will likely rest him for a couple of days before evaluating his progress.
Gay injured his right Achilles tendon on Nov. 15.
Gay is averaging 21.1 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Kings (8-5), who have won two straight since losing to New Orleans on Nov. 18.
