The Washington Wizards have re-signed veteran forward Drew Gooden to a one-year contract, according to multiple reports.
Gooden, 32, averaged 8.3 points and 5.2 rebounds in 22 games with the Wizards last season.
The move to re-sign Gooden is the latest in a busy offseason for the Wizards. Washington also re-signed center Marcin Gortat, added veteran small forward Paul Pierce and will add forward Kris Humphries in a sign-and-trade with the Boston Celtics, sources confirmed to ESPN.com.
