Oftentimes a Finals series will play out as expected. Other times we see an upset. But it's hard to label this series as anything but a whitewash. As it turns out, the biggest story of this matchup is not the AC issues in Game 1 but rather the missed free throws by the Spurs in Game 2. Because had they hit just a few more, these Finals would be over.
The Spurs are running away with the title by playing ultra fast in the full court and in halfcourt sets, literally pushing Miami's players into an exhaustion zone. Everything for the Spurs is working, making it tough to single out any one player who stands out above the rest. This rankings, though, is a cumulative look at the entire postseason, and the Spurs have had one man who has stood tallest since mid-April.
