First this article is wrong. Dennis Rodman met his father for the first time during his Bad Boy tour 2006 in the Philippines . I know I was there in the Philippines he played against a national team in Cebu. And Dennis Rodman and his father got into an argument and the Filipino people got mad.

The Senior Rodman gets a bad Rap on some of this. Being in the Philippines for 42 years and having 24 kids here is nothing earth shattering. Admitting to it is more of a surprise. He did not abandon his Kids in the USA, he was divorced and stationed in Vietnam and the Philippines. I'm sure he paid child support because being a member of the Military You get your money last. If the mother was to dumb to get it, that says more about her than him. He made good money when the base was here(Philippines) so i'm sure the Child support was no issue. Back in the day Philander took in more strays than the Dog Pound. He was famous for rescuing and feeding lost souls. This included GI's and locals. He was more Charitable than the Salvation Army. He has fallen on hard times now, but continues to stay positive and upbeat. I'm glad he and Dennis finally got to meet as men. I wish his daughters could make it over and meet there father also.
