The Houston Chronicle is reporting that the Rockets launched their all-out press to land guard Jeremy Lin by making a contract offer to last season's breakout star on Wednesday night.A report in The ... Read full story
NBA TEAM FIRST PRIORITY IS TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIP, THERE ONLY 1 WINNER, SO THE NEXT PRIORITY IS FIND PLAYERS THAT MAKE THE ORG TON OF MONEY...lin is that guy that make the org tons of money, with lin profiting , he can pay for all the players by himself, while the boss profiting all the other $$$$$$$..even 40 million for 4 years is still cheap...THE ROCKETS KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THEIR ARE DOING...BUT TOO BAD THE KNICKS KNOW IT TO BUT AFRAID OF TAXES,..AND HE BREAK TOP SCORER RECORED WHEN HE WAS STARTING..HOW MANY PLAYER CAN DO THAT??..i think if melo was out that year, lin can be a 20points-7 assist guy.. 314 Days ago

That's just bad business practice. NEVER let others set the price for a commodity. Unless the idea was to let Lin walk and say that "The price was too high, sorry, boo hoo.", so they can sign Steve Nash with their sign and trade deal ... which Epic failed.
Knicks management does not know how to negotiate value for their contracts. 319 Days ago

Wow...will he ditch the team that gave him a second chance? Think the Rockets did cut him you know. 319 Days ago

Many people said Lin is overpaid. Are you sure that Carmelo, Amare, and Tyson are not overpaid with $20 millions per year for each? 319 Days ago

Rockets actually did not make a serious bid for Lin!!! 319 Days ago

There is no way the article put it in "all out press" because $28.8 millions for four years offer to Lin is too easy for the Knicks to match, considering Landry Fields got $20 millions for three years. I think Rockets is just wasting their time! 319 Days ago

NY will NOT match offer. Jeremy WILL be in a Rockets uniform next season. Sorry NY fans but you have a dysfunctional team and owner. 319 Days ago

I'm gonna make this clear, if the Knicks want a a chance at a championship, they WILL sign Jeremy Lin. If the Knicks want to make money for the Garden, they WILL sign Lin. If they want both, all you have to do is SIGN JEREMY LIN. At this point money should be no object to the Knicks, they're overpaying all of their Big Three besides maybe Carmelo Anthony. WE NEED A TITLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 321 Days ago

Lin was good, until teams started analyzing him and realized he can't drive nearly as well with his left as his right, once that got shot down he started to panic and started to turn the ball over 321 Days ago

Lin should leave because Mike Woodson is going to play Kidd 45 minutes a game. 322 Days ago

Good. He's not as good as everyone says he is, it's all hype. He had a good stretch of games. Then he started to do terrible and he was too erratic with the ball. 322 Days ago

There was on news agency that said Lin was thrilled that Kidd was coming to NY to be his backup and mentor him. I think they offered Lin $24.5 million and told him that he and felton was going to be fighting for starting PG. Lin probaly said no, and decided to do the deal with the Rocketts. Kidd was going to be the starting PG for Mavs and he didn't want that anymore. I think the Knicks offered him to be backup to Lin and mentor him, and he said ok. Lin use to attend Kidd's summer camps when he was growing up.I think if they sign Felton it will be to barter a deal to get Kidd. I think Lin will take the $24.5 million now because part of the negoiating was to get Kidd on board. JLin wants to be starting PG, without worrying about somebody looking over his shoulder.Very farfetched. I know...LOL 322 Days ago

lin agrees to the offer already so if the knicks don't match it, he's gone. 322 Days ago
