I'm glad for New Orleans, but the hypestorm is growing. People are beginning to think that Anthony Davis will singehandedly send NO to the finals next year, that Austin Rivers is a superstar, and that NO is a going to be a perennial title contender now.
First off, that doesn't happen. They have 2 or 3 year's of smart decision making to go with. The one pick they had a choice on this year wasn't a great fit for the team, and they could blow it with bad selections. Or, they could keep winning the #1 pick and getting obvious choices and end up with a young team to match the Thunder. But it hasn't happened yet.
Let the hype settle down before or mad disappointment is going to happen. 324 Days ago

As a Duke fan, I'm convinced that Austin Rivers is terrible. He's young, so he has time to develop, but my god, all he did last year was fall while driving. He can't pass or defend, so he has to play the 2, and doesn't NO already have that in Gordon...? 324 Days ago

I don't like Skip Bayless or Stephen A, but I really do enjoy them going at each other. Its like the doucheiness balances out 324 Days ago

I'm a huge hornets fan and always have been since they moved to New Orleans, but you cannot say that they won a championship by just simply drafting players. They still must prove they can play in the NBA. However, having Davis play in the Olympics will almost certainly give him a feel on how the NBA is. I am very excited to see what the future holds in NOLA!!!
Also i know this might be a little crazy, but im hopeing CP3 sees the progress we are making and maybe wants a return to NO after next season? 324 Days ago
