How can this guys suggest Tim Duncan not playing with the spurs. This proves what a moron he is.

The scariest thing I have ever realized was that Tim Duncan could be on the Heat or Thunder. 329 Days ago

So I'm guessing this list is just from the teams that made it to the conference finals. How do you leave off Kobe with some of the games he had where he was pretty much carrying the team. And Rondo should be # 3 behind Lebron and KD. 329 Days ago

Sure he had to carry the team, but in the 7 postseason games he scored at least 30 points this year, the Lakers went 3-4 (and 1-3 when he scored at least 38). I realize they didn't have much going for them and had to rely on Kobe, but you don't get much credit for carrying your team in a loss. They were 2-3 in the other 5 games, when he scored 22 points or less. Fact is, Kobe's individual performance didn't seem to be much of a factor in the team's performance, which is what you're looking for in a most VALUABLE player. An MVP is someone who is instrumental in his team winning, not just someone who puts up big numbers.
Contrast that with the Lakers 2 seasons ago, who were 12-4 in the playoffs when Kobe scored at least 25, and 4-3 when he didn't.
Also contrast that with LeBron James this season, where the Heat were 10-1 when he had a double-double (or triple-double like in the last game), and only 6-6 when he didn't. That's pretty strong evidence of him being essential to his team's wins. 329 Days ago

Ginobili deserves to be on this list far more than Duncan or Chalmers. 329 Days ago

Chalmers? Really? I'm not saying he wasn't valuable to the Heat, but can't we look at someone like AI2 or Kobe, even though they got beat by a better team in the second round? And I say this even as someone who thinks Kobe is highly overrated. 329 Days ago
