Heat. Thunder. Even. With Miami holding off a furious comeback from OKC, the series heads to Miami tied 1-1. Do the Heat now have the advantage in this series? Who's to blame for the Thunder's Game 2... Read full story
Miami fans - the game starts at 8pm not 9pm. Pleae get there on time. Your team is in the Finals. Act like you care for the next 3 games. And if Lebron takes the same shot at the end of the game tonight he will get the foul call. Guaranteed 334 Days ago

The no-call did not decide the games outcome. The players did. KD was in the game because of a bad call against Battier earlier. Had they called a charge against the scoring champion, the outcome of the game would have been decided a lot sooner than the last 15 seconds. It is the Finals and no one with two grains of sense should think the refs are going to take the power to decide the outcome of the game out of the players hands in the closing minutes. Thunder lost because they did not do what it took to win. PLAY BASKETBALL FOR 48 MINUTES! 334 Days ago

When you say "Thunder played awful yet had a chance to win with 12 seconds left", I say HEAT STILL WON even though they let a lead slip away. What if they stay steady and dont blow huge leads? Your argument is INVALID. 334 Days ago

And what if the Thunder start out steady and don't let huge leads happen? Your argument is INVALID. 334 Days ago

If I was a Heat fan in the stands, I'd be screaming - "give it Westbrook!" 334 Days ago

I believe Miami is the veteran team here and they know OKC will play desperate in Game 3. Miami must weather the Thunderstorm which will come sometime in the game. 334 Days ago

I'd like to see games decided by players without the taint of crappy officiating. OKC didn't get squat for home court advantage in game 2 and if MIA gets even as much preference as they did in game 2 OKC is in trouble...but MIA tends to get far more ridiculous favor from the refs at home. It's going to be brutal to watch. 334 Days ago

Because haslem and chalmers don't argue every single foul they commit even if they nearly behead someone. And wade never cries about not getting calls.
I'll give LeBron this, he gets hit A LOT with no call made and he very rarely gets worked up about it. More often he gives the refs an "are you serious" stare but nothing like the timmy sad panda face or the haslem I didn't draw blood so what's the problem face.

OKC fans should follow their team and coaches attitude towards bad calls and stop blaming one call for a game. Its a pathtic excuse only losers make, thats why Durant didnt make excuses. Jump shooters that are being played by shorter players near the hoop dont get many calls anyway. Complaining about calls only demonstrates your poor bball IQ. Miami in 5 335 Days ago

Ill be the objective voice of reason here. I'm a Celtics fan, therefore l have no personal interest in these finals other than we may be witnessing the beginning of Bird/Magic all over again, which is GREAT for the game. Miami won that game fair and square. Was that a foul by LeBron at the end of the game when it was dissected frame by frame in super slow mo? Yes. But by the same standard in much more obvious fashion KD should've fouled out with like 5 min left in the game when Battier took a beautiful charge outside the circle, which the refs called a block on Battier . So let's view this fairly, and not subjectively hating on LeBron. 335 Days ago

So, based on that same standard, Durant shouldn't have even been in the game to take that shot. If we're going to bring up 1 missed call, we have to bring up the other. 335 Days ago

OKC FANS---at home, durant got 32, wesrbrook 28-9-7, harden 21, and ibaka had a block party, and they lost. ....stop saying they played bad... miami made more plays. .....face it. just like the terrible OKC media with the stupid questions. Askin spo if there lucky, askin spo how does it feel to be outscored in 3 qtrs ??????? / miami won dude, the media is supposed to b biased, and they were being sore losers, goating KD into blamin refs, 3 different media people asked him to admit a foul. KD was smart... NBA history , the always let finals, last play of game, play out unless U get hacked on the shot. He got a clean shot off.(4 feet)......... bUT stop makin excuses. . miami outplayed U at home. 335 Days ago

Durant did get hacked on the shot. He makes that shot all the time, so there is no reason to believe he wouldn' have made it. But a picture speaks a thousand words. Look at the picture. James has his hand on the balance hand. No way it doesn't affect your shot.

This is the first time I can agree with 2nd year die hard heat fans....its not going to be about a missed foul call here and there but about the team that doesnt need the foul call, the team with better players who can shoot with the game on the line and not the one with READY made excuse (ie: heat index writers for wade)...heat fans knows who can hit shots (OKC)and knows who needs the whistle(heat). 335 Days ago
TonyG6Heat
not to mention durant shouldve fouled out when battier was called for a block, it was clearly a block. but no, so there you go, durant wouldnt ahve been in the game to even hit that 3 or take that last shot. bam. refs miss things, deal. and we all know when it comes to game deciding last plays refs swallow their whistle. 335 Days ago

Is it the refs' fault that OKC played HORRIBLY in the first quarter? Was it the refs' fault that Westbrook shot 10-26? Is it the refs' fault that OKC put up 26 3-point shots and only made 9? Is it the refs fault that only three OKC players scored more than 8 points? There are missed fouls in every game. If OKC didn't play so bad in the first half those missed calls might not have mattered. You have to play more than 2 quarters to win a game. Don't blame the refs that OKC was dominated in the first half. THAT is the team representing the mighty West? They are a really good team but still young and inconsistent. Some times their slow starts will come back to bite them. Don't blame the refs. 335 Days ago
mr_kareemlakeshow
Ur right ...the only team NEEDING the refs is Miami....thats how u got the only B.S title u have...OKC does not use excuses (wade) and has guys who can actully shoot (unlike wade) miami has overrated paper champions sans LBJ....OKC will win in miami because they have BETTER PLAYERS FOOL! 335 Days ago
