Not a Lakers fan. I watch Kobe dismantle my team (Denver) in the playoffs year after year... but I have always respected his game. He's one of the smartest and most talented guys on the court night after night. Other players should listen to him.

I only see the Lakers when they play Denver or in big national games. I'm no Kobe fan at all... but as far as flopping goes, he's far from the worst offender. I could literally name just about every other superstar in the league and they flop more than him besides maybe Wade, Anthony, ZBo, and Durant. He can't even compete with the flopping of Paul, James, Novitski, Westbrook, Griffin, I'll even throw Galanari in that list (though he's not a star).

I think you're letting your Kobe hatred blind what you're seeing. I watch him beat Denver (a lot). He isn't really a flopper. He complains to the refs a lot but he doesn't flop too often.

Kobe may want to be careful what he wishes for. Although he is not the classic defensive flopper, he is one of the worst offensive floppers. When he goes up for a shot and the ball gets stripped on the way up, Kobe comes up with arms flying everywhere head flying back, stumbles, grabs his eye and starts whining to the ref. Yeah, you all have seen the act that I am talking about. It is the same one that sends Ginobli flying into the stands on an out-of-control layup eventhough nobody touches him! If the league takes a serious anti-flopping direction, they are going to have to define it as any action that is intended to deceive the refs. And in my opinion, that is going to have to include Kobe's offensive drama as well . . .

I certainly wouldn't single out one specific player and call him a flopper. especially when u consider that the majority of the league(especially big men) take part in this act. this is really no different then a player grunting or yelling on there way to the hoop. if people have beef with it, and rightfully so, I would blame the officials for allowing the culture to get cozy within the league. the whistles are in there mouths, they can put an end to it
