Theres no place like home.
Scott Drew even mailed a photo to all of his recruits that had a picture of him and Bobby Knight with a big red X through coach Knight. The caption read "Which one of these coaches has ever recruited a Mcdonald's all-american?" Scott Drew will stop at absolutely nothing to steal talent. The super powers in college basketball like Duke, Kansas and UNC need to step up and send a message that they don't want this in their game. Baylor should be stripped of everything and be put on a 2 year post-season ban. A few phone calls might not sound like much to some of you but it sure as he!! is something to the other coaches who have spent years recruiting a kid and lose out on him because they choose to follow the rules. 42 Days ago

Of course no one thought that picture was a big deal until ESPN told you it was. 42 Days ago

For those who don't follow much of the Big 12 for whatever reason, all of us here in this conference have been patiently waiting for the NCAA to do something about Scott Drew. I don't know him personally but anyone who does will tell you he is a cheater. Bobby Knight once cornered him in a bathroom at a coaching conference and told him to cut the Sh!tt. 42 Days ago

To be honest, if Baylor wasn't getting ready to get slapped with sanctions by the NCAA, I think Jones III would probably be returning to Baylor next season. That said, this kid is athletic as hell, and he's got quality skills. Because we've seen them at times in Baylor games this season. The biggest flaw that I see with Jones III game right now is that he plays too passive. He doesn't always bring it 110% night in and night out like he should. That's something he'll have to get past quickly to make it in the NBA. I can remember when the press pounded him about how passive in played during the first half of that Elite 8 game between Kentucky and Baylor in Atlanta, and he really couldn't ever come up with a good answer as to why he played so passive in the first half of that game? Because he looked an entirely player in the second half of that game, for sure. Played like a man possessed. Which is what he should've been doing from the opening tip. 42 Days ago

NCAA is not going to hit them with sanctions. Jones' mom is in dire need of medical attention. That's why he's leaving. 42 Days ago

This guy could be the next Avery Bradley... underachived in college, emerges as a solid player for a good team like the celtics, becomes a star if used the right way. 42 Days ago

He'll be a good role player in the NBA. With his skill set he should have dominated players game in and game out. That just never happened. 42 Days ago

how long will it take before RG3 has to return his heisman? and for the woman's b'ball team to vacate their title? they broke countless rules--let's see the punishment 42 Days ago

Haha stripped of the heisman and a title because of phone calls? Do you seriously think that the big dogs in football like LSU, Alabama, UT, Oklahoma, and USC never break rules or do they just not get caught because of the immense amount of revenue they bring to college football? On the basketball side do you think that Kentucky, Duke, Syracuse, and Kansas always follow the rules? Use your head before you run your mouth.

RGIII wasn't recruited by Baylor, he was recruited while Briles was coach at Houston. He followed Briles to Baylor. Sorry bitter internet person. 42 Days ago

PJ3 can go. The team had identity issues with him on the court. Is he the leader? Is he going to take charge? I thought the team played much better when MIller in and PJ3 was sitting. I hope Miller stays another year. The Jackson-Heslip-Austin-Miller line up sounds like a lot of diverse weapons. 42 Days ago

Don't think he's ready, but considering his family situation, I can't blame him. Some people don't have the luxury of enjoying the college experience to their heart's content. 42 Days ago

I do not think this is a good move. I think he should stay one more year and continue to develop and hone his skills. His stats didn't increase significantly and in fact decreased in some categories.Frankly, he had a pretty disappointing collegiate career for what he was hyped to be. He has all the talent in the world but that doesn't mean he has to turn pro just yet. His athleticism combined with his natural ability, I think he could turn into an excellent pro. Another year in college will help him mature as well. Because he is so athletic, I think that he will excel in the pros because they will develop him to the player that he is capable of becoming. Although I think this is a bad decision, I think he will turn out to be a good pro and I hope the best for him. 43 Days ago

For much of the season he almost averaged a double double. Since when is this not good? For any other player this would be great but because ESPN and others decided to hype him up into some super god like player its just not good enough.... 40 Days ago

I don't know where you get the idea that the players were paid. Considering the NCAA did a multiyear investigation and could only come up with texts, then I'd say its not so bad. 42 Days ago
