LEADING OFF: Price for 3rd complete game; Murphy 1st win

A look at what's happening all around the major leagues Wednesday:

---

COMPLETE SUCCESS

David Price has a shot at becoming the first Tigers starter to throw three straight complete games since Jack Morris did it 25 years ago. Price, coming off a shutout of Cleveland, faces another Ohio rival, the Reds. Johnny Cueto starts for Cincinnati.

ONE MORE TRY

The Padres will try for a second time to give interim manager Pat Murphy his first win when San Diego and the Athletics move their four-game series to Oakland. Murphy took over the Padres a day after Bud Black was fired.

MARQUEE MATCHUP

The four-game, two-city series between the Giants and Mariners shifts to Seattle with a marquee pitching matchup between San Francisco's Madison Bumgarner and Felix Hernandez. Hernandez is coming off a rare rough outing. He allowed eight runs and retired just one batter last Friday against Houston, matching the shortest start of his career. Bumgarner makes his first appearance against an AL team since his five-inning save in Game 7 of the World Series last year against Kansas City that earned him Series MVP honors.

GOOD START

Philadelphia right-hander Kevin Correia will look to extend his strong start to 2015 when the slumping Phillies begin a two-game home set with the Orioles. The 34-year-old Correia signed as a free agent on June 8 and went 5 2/3 scoreless innings against Pittsburgh on Friday. He's 2-1 with a 3.79 ERA in three career starts against Baltimore.

RIGHT TEAM

Boston's Joe Kelly could use a friendly foe after he was rocked Friday by the Toronto Blue Jays for the third time in three starts this year. He's getting one in the Braves. Kelly is 1-0 with a 1.46 ERA against Atlanta in two career starts.
