Say goodbye to the Rangers for a while

While it's up to the historians to decide whether they're entitled to use the term dynasty, there's little disagreement that 2010 to 2013 was the most exciting period in the history of the Texas Rangers. Going into the 2010 season, the Rangers had only three 90-win seasons since being birthed as the third incarnation (arguably fourth) of the Washington Senators in 1961. The Rangers pulled off four 90-win seasons in a row starting in 2010, winning a playoff series for the first time in franchise history and making it to two World Series. Texas was only a David Freese two-out, two-run triple away from their first World Series trophy. And now it's all over.
