MIAMI -- The Miami Marlins and closer Steve Cishek have avoided arbitration by agreeing to a $6.65 million, one-year contract.

The team also settled Friday with right-handers Henderson Alvarez and Aaron Crow, as well as second baseman Dee Gordon. Alvarez agreed at $4 million for 2015, while Gordon will make $2.5 million and Crow's deal is for $1,975,000.

Miami pitchers Mat Latos, David Phelps and Mike Dunn remain in arbitration. The Marlins acquired Latos last month in a deal with Cincinnati. The 27-year-old right-hander asked for $10.4 million, and Miami proposed $9.4 million.

Cishek converted 39 of 43 save chances last season with a 3.17 ERA.

Gordon stole 64 bases for the Los Angeles Dodgers last year. He was traded to Miami in December.
