Last hurrah for Detroit Tigers?

Losing Max Scherzer, an impending free agent, would be a serious blow to the team's 2015 upside. AP Photo/Nam Y. Huh

Although the Tigers lost Sunday, it was a good week for the blessed boys. They added a game on the Royals and now lead the American League Central by 1½ games. They return home for the final week and have seven games against two AL Central bottom-dwellers, the Twins and White Sox. The Tigers' odds of winning the Central are now roughly four in five, a stark contrast from two weeks ago, when it was less than one in two.

Still, though, I can't help but wonder if this is the last hurrah for this iteration of the Tigers.
