May 17: Buehrle allowed five runs on six hits, walking three and striking out four over six-plus innings of a 5-0 loss to the Yankees on Friday night. He was pitching effectively, having allowed just a pair of runs through six innings, but the wheels came off in the seventh as the Yankees put up a three-spot to put the game on ice. He has had a disappointing start to the season with a 1-3 record and a 6.33 ERA, but he has shown signs that he may be getting it together. He'll face Tampa Bay at home in his next start.
