Nov 18: At least a dozen teams have inquired about signing DeRosa, including the Cardinals, Mariners, Nationals, Giants, Phillies, Orioles, Rangers, Yankees, Mets, Twins and Braves, the L.A. Times reports. It looks like DeRosa is set to receive a large multi-year deal if there truly are that many viable bidders for his services. Small payroll teams like the Twins may not have much of a chance to sign him as a result.
