May 21: Darvish gave up one run on five hits and three walks with five strikeouts in six innings Tuesday, but took the loss against the A's. Darvish entered the game getting a league-high 9.1 runs of support per nine innings pitched, so he was due for a day where his teammates struggled, which was the case Tuesday, as Dan Straily dominated the Rangers en route to a 1-0 win. He still leads the majors with 91 strikeouts in 66.2 innings and on Sunday he'll look to get the better of Hisashi Iwakuma in Seattle. He should be relatively fresh, as he threw 101 pitches Tuesday after averaging 121 pitches over his previous three starts.
