May 17: Escobar was 3-for-5 with a run scored and three RBI in the Rays win over Baltimore on Friday night. He got off to a horrible start, perhaps partially because of a hand injury, but he seems to have put that behind him and has added about 40 points to his batting average in just the past 10 days or so (he is now hitting .222). He'll need to hit his way up in the order to be a significant fantasy factor, but that is not beyond the realm of possibilities if he can string together an extended hot streak.
